Hampton Lacrosse
Mission Statement
Hampton Lacrosse is dedicated to providing programs and services that inspire participation while honoring the game. Hampton Lacrosse is committed to equal participation and the view that to play the game is great, to win the game is greater, to love the game is the greatest. We are about promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, positive coaching, and having fun, as well as advancing the sport of lacrosse. We want each and every participant to feel like they have made a contribution to themselves as well as to their respective team both on and off the field.
Hampton Lacrosse is a total volunteer organization. We are not sponsored or funded by the school district, HYA, Attack, or the town recreation departments. The program is run by a Board of Directors and a volunteer coaching staff along with the assistance of the parents of all players. We are dedicated to the instruction of the game of lacrosse, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play. Hampton Lacrosse is open to all students who reside within the boundaries of the SAU-21 school district.
| What's Behind The Name Change? There is We do not hold try outs and everyone is welcome to play! Our goal is to be an inclusive organization that is striving to introduce as many interested players to the sport as we can. As coaches we know most kids are hooked on the game once they have had the opportunity to play! A child's "experience" level should not deter them from joining any of our teams. We welcome new and returning players that are willing to work hard, respect the game, and have a lot of fun! Within each age group there may be multiple teams. We will strive to place players on the appropriate team to ensure growth and playing opportunities for all players involved. |
sometimes confusion with the Attack name in Hampton. Each Attack Team is a different organization run by different boards depending on the sport. Attack Soccer is not affiliated with Attack Basketball, etc. To clarify any confusion, the Board voted to change Hampton Attack Lacrosse to Hampton Lacrosse.
